SHAKALAND – ZULU CULTURE
(Depart 08h00 – Duration 8 hrs)

Visit this authentic Zulu village where you will experience many facets of the Zulu culture – from meeting a Zulu chief, a Sangomo (Medicine man) and watching a spectacular dance show before being escorted to lunch at the “Shiya Nyama” restaurant by Zulu singers for a feast on traditional foods. After lunch we will travel to Eshowe and visit the Dlinza Forest Arial Boardwalk.

 

 

 

HLUHLUWE-UMFOLOZI GAME RESERVE
(Depart 07h00 – Duration 12 hrs)

Enjoy a full day in the oldest Big 5 game reserve in Africa. We need to leave very early in the morning to enjoy this tour. Once at the park we transfer onto an open safari vehicle together with an experienced game ranger for great game viewing. Lunch would be at the Hilltop Camp Restaurant.

 

 

 

 

ISIMANGALISO WETLAND PARK
(Depart 08h30 – Duration 8 hrs)

A visit to South Africa’s first World Heritage Site is a must. Enjoy the unspoilt, wild and vibrant feel of Africa as we enjoy a two-hour boat cruise on Lake St. Lucia viewing Hippos, Crocodiles and a large variety of birdlife. (Lunch for own account)

 

 

 

 

HLUHLUWE / ISIMANGALISO
(Depart 07h00 – Duration 12 hrs)

Visit Hluhluwe-Umfolozi Game Park for the morning and then drive to St Lucia in the iSimangaliso Wetlands for a 2 hour boat cruise down the world’s largest estuary viewing hippo and crocodile in their natural habitat. (Lunch for own account)

 

 

 

 

MIDLANDS MEANDER
(Depart 08h30 – Duration 8 hrs)

Relax while we drive through some of the most beautiful scenery in KZN. Besides the views this is home to crafters, artists, potters, leatherworks and makers of fine furniture. (Lunch for own account)

 

 

 

 

SANI PASS
(Depart 08h00 – Duration approx 10 hrs)

We travel through to Underberg where we transfer into a 4×4 vehicle for a trip up the famous Sani Pass to the top of the Drakensberg and into Lesotho where we meet these mountain people living in a very harsh land. We have lunch at the “Highest Pub in Africa” which is at 2874 metres above sea level. Passports are required for this trip.

 

 

 

 

SOUTH COAST – ORIBI GORGE
(Depart 08h00 – Duration 8 hrs)

One of KZN’s most spectacular natural wonders! View the gorge at various points such as The Needle and Hanging Rock. Cross the gorge by way of the suspension bridge if you dare before lunch at the Leopard Rock Café overlooking the gorge.
